The MP2307 is an adjustable voltage regulator that converts a higher input voltage into a lower adjustable output voltage. The advantage of this switching regulator is that it has a very high efficiency while being very compact in size.

Note: The input voltage must be 1.5 V higher than the output voltage! The chip features built-in over-temperature protection.
