Purecrea Membrane keypad 16 keys / keypad 4x4 matrix keypad

This keypad is perfect for building a combination lock with Arduino, for example. You can also use it on a Raspberry Pi or other controllers. The keypad is very thin and can simply be glued on for assembly. There are already libraries for the control that you can find in the Arduino Library Manager if you search for Keypad. To save pins on your controller I recommend to control the keypad with an i2c portexpander PCF8574. Since the PCF8574 is controlled via i2c, you only need two data pins.
