With this Li-Ion battery, you can power your battery-operated Arduino projects. The LiPo battery comes with a JST-PH 2-pin (2mm) connector. This connector is compatible with all Sparkfun boards as well as our ESP32 Lolin32. Always check the polarity before plugging the connector into a board for the first time. It is important to note that a short circuit or incorrect connection of the LiPo can lead to destruction.

The battery should only be charged with a special LiPo charger. For our boards that have a LiPo connection, charging electronics for LiPo / Li-Ion batteries are built-in. This battery features an additional protection circuit that safeguards it against deep discharge and overcharging.
