Product details

This 1 m long waterproof temperature sensor features a DS18B20 sensor chip with 1-Wire communication. The sensor is connected via a shielded cable, which makes communication with the temperature sensor less prone to interference. The DS18B20 is a digital temperature sensor housed in a TO92 casing. The sensor is highly accurate and reliable, as it has been factory calibrated. To control it with an Arduino, you can use the DallasTemperature library. To read the DS18B20, you only need one input on your Arduino. Multiple sensors can also be connected to a single input. For the operation of the sensor, you will need a 4.7 kOhm resistor, which should be placed between VCC and Data. For example, if you have 5 sensors on the same input, you only need one resistor.

Important: A 4.7 kOhm resistor must be connected between the red and white wires.
