The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is a unique model in the growing PRS SE Series. With a body made of swamp ash and a 22-fret maple neck featuring a maple fingerboard, the SE Swamp Ash Special presents a fresh look and versatile voice. The 85/15 "S" pickups flank a PRS-designed AS-01 Single Coil "S" pickup in the middle position. The AS-01 Single Coil is made from both Alnico and steel, adding extra mass to the pickups and contributing to a powerful sound. Together with the push-pull tone control and the 3-way switch for the pickups, this pickup/electronics package offers the player a wide range of tonal possibilities.
