Inspired by humbuckers from 1957 and introduced in 2008, these proprietary pickups were designed by Paul Reed Smith. They are made with vintage-style wire and are wound in the PRS electronics department. They were developed to capture the iconic tones of 1950s guitars and have become modern classics themselves with their warm, even, and responsive sound.
