These light modifiers are also known as "Beauty Dishes," and their name already indicates the purpose for which they were developed. They create a unique light that allows the photographer to emphasize the beauty of their subject. The light is soft yet accentuated enough to appear completely natural. This makes the Softlight Reflector ideal for photographing people. It produces a flawless, natural look with slightly accentuated shadows, making it perfect for portrait and fashion photography.

In the silver version, the reflector delivers a stronger, more contrasting light than in the white variant, which produces a softer and more even light. Both can be used with all Profoto light sources. The Softlight Reflector is available both as a standalone unit and in a kit that includes a 25° honeycomb grid and a diffuser.
