All Profoto softboxes have interchangeable diffusers. This allows you to determine and control the degree of softness yourself. The diffusers are designed to spread light more softly and evenly, reduce harsh shadows, and create an attractive, natural look. The diffuser can also be used as an ND filter when you want to work with a wide aperture and long exposure times. The diffusers range from 0.5 stops, which produce slightly softer light, to 1.5 stops, which spread light with effective softness. All diffusers are easy to mount and remove, allowing you to quickly switch between setups. Note: All Profoto softboxes come with a 1-stop diffuser.
