The optional diffuser for umbrella softboxes is simply pulled over the front of your white or silver umbrella with an elastic band, similar to a shower cap, transforming it into a softbox and providing a softer, more diffused light. The umbrella diffuser reduces light output by 1.5 stops. The umbrella diffuser is available in four sizes: S, M, L, and XL.
