Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital

The Pre Box S2 Digital marks a new era for the components of our S-Series. For the first time we use a double mono setup with top class D/A converters from ESS Sabre. Their flagship DAC chip guarantees maximum listening pleasure at an affordable price. This DAC is capable of converting high resolution files up to 32bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512. Pre Box S2 Digital is also the first of our products to support MQA hardware decoding. With it comes the premiere of our proprietary Optimum Transient Filter and our proprietary Clock circuit. Digital audio is the art of the time, with our proprietary clock design we were able to realize jitter values of 100 femtoseconds, values that eclipse many highly regarded and respected clock generators. With organic propylene capacitors and Thin Film miniMELF resistors we could build this little wonder which declassifies much bigger and more expensive hardware. With seven digital filters the customer can shape the sound according to his wishes. The Pre Box S2 Digital is fully remote controllable and can even control the computer's playback software.
