Pro-Ject Lube It

A turntable is a sensitive instrument and requires proper care. The motor moves the platter and accordingly the oil in the platter bearing is consumed. Many factors, such as climate and humidity, have a great influence on this. Therefore, it is difficult to give a recommended duration for renewing the oil. It is best to keep the bearing permanently lubricated. With Lube it you keep the bearing of your turntable always oiled for perfect playback. We recommend to keep your turntable constantly in motion, as this guarantees a frictionless bearing. However, this will cause metal abrasion, so you will need to change the lubrication more frequently. There is no recommended dosage, but there is also no risk of using too much. In the worst case, you will have to wipe the turntable to keep it clean.

Please use Lube it only on turntables like Elemental, Primary, T-Line, Essential, Debut, The Classic, Juke Box & X1/X2. For turntables with inverted bearings, like the RPM Line, Xtension models or the Signature Line please use Grease it.
