Product details

The V-Regulator is a compact, high-performance voltage regulator designed for use when standard servos are to be powered by a lithium-ion battery. This allows for smaller to medium-sized aircraft models and helicopters to be equipped or retrofitted with modern battery technology. The pulse line is passed through from the input to the output, enabling a single 6V servo to operate in a model with a high-voltage system. Another application case is electronic ignitions, which have a limited maximum supply voltage. The regulated output voltage ensures consistent performance of the servos, while servo back currents are effectively filtered out.

Features:

  • Available with regulated output voltage of 5.3V or 6.0V
  • Continuous current up to 3A - depending on cooling
  • Peak current up to 20A (< 10s)
  • Large machined aluminum heat sink
  • Excellent for ignitions, small helicopters, and smaller models with up to 8 servos
  • Suitable for all applications that can operate with a maximum voltage of 5.3V or 6.0V
  • Extremely slim design for small fuselages

Technical Data:

  • Operating voltage: 4.0V - 9.0V
  • Continuous current capacity max. 3A, Peak max. 20A
  • Dropout voltage: 0.10V
  • Output voltage: 5.3V
  • Total servo outputs: 1
  • Weight: 10g
