Der BackBeat FIT von Plantronics ist der ultimative Trainigspartner für bewegungsintensive, schweißtreibende Outdoor-Sportarten. Er bietet perfekten Halt, ist leicht zu reinigen und bietet einen für Sportkopfhörer überdurchschnittlich guten Klang.
Der BackBeat Fit ist wasserdicht und somit perfekt für den Sport - allerdings funktioniert im Wasser Bluetooth nicht. Der Klang wirkte im Test wenig motivierend, und der Kopfhörer sitzt nicht gerade angenehm. Die getestete Boost-Edition beinhaltet einen Transportbeutel mit Akku sowie ein Sechs-Monats-Abo für die Pear-Personal-Tranings-App.
Der kalifornische Hersteller Plantronics setzte als einziger auf Verpackungsmaterial rein aus Pappe. Der Hörer selbst, aus Kunststoff gefertigt, ist eine Kombination aus Ohr und Nackenbügel. Gummiaufsätze dienen offenbar als eine Art Schallführung für den Gehörgang. Mit Handy-Armtasche. Das Gerät mit Nackenbügel eignet sich gut für unterschiedliche Nutzer. Die Hinterohrbügel lassen sich nur fummelig anpassen. Relativ ausgewogener Klang, Bass etwas zurückhaltend. Lässt sich mäßig abwischen. Akku für mehr als acht Stunden. Kein Hinweis vor Ende der Akkulaufzeit.
Insgesamt ist der Sound der Ohrhörer recht passabel, wobei aber auch hier hier Details eher untergehen als sie deutlich betont werden. dafür ist die Bedienung sehr komfortabel sowie der Sitz sehr sicher, sodass auch Sportler hier zugreifen können. Leider ist das Zubehör sehr gering denn eine Auswahl an weiteren Ohrstöpseln ist nicht mit an Bord.
