Platypod Handle

The Platypod Handle is a versatile mounting accessory for photographic applications, capable of supporting loads up to 10 kg with eight 1/4-20 threaded connections and a 3/8-16 mounting bolt. Made entirely of aluminum with a black finish, this accessory features an Arca-compatible base with a reinforced 3/8-16 stainless steel socket. The handle includes a 3.8 cm tall attachment/extender that can be extended from a minimum height of 7.6 cm to a maximum height of 26.7 cm or converted to a compact configuration of 7.6 cm. Weighing 210 g, this accessory is designed for landscape, studio, food, portrait, macro, and close-up applications as well as vlogging setups. The eight mounting points accommodate Platypod elbows and articulated arms, while the reinforced base provides stable support for additional accessories such as lights, monitors, and reflectors. This handle remains compatible with all Platypod systems and most common tripod configurations. A ball head or plate adapter is required for camera mounting to connect with standard 1/4 camera sockets.
