Experience the most refined and intense chapter of SNK's legendary weapon-based fighting game series yet with Samurai Shodown V Special.

An improved and rebalanced version of Samurai Shodown V, this instalment offers deeper gameplay mechanics, a wider selection of characters and even more intense competitive gameplay - making it one of the most respected titles in the series.

In the late 18th century, warriors from all over the world clash in deadly duels in which precision, timing and psychological warfare count for more than just hammering the keys. Every hit is decisive.

The series' trademark focus on powerful single attacks and strategic positional play returns, along with advanced mechanics such as overkill moves, sword bar management and optimised combat balance for all characters.

Featuring a diverse selection of popular fighters and impressive bosses, Samurai Shodown V Special combines dramatic presentation, fluid animations and high-tension gameplay for an authentic NEOGEO experience.

The cartridge is compatible with the NEOGEO AES+ and NEOGEO AES video game systems.

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
