Unlike most other players in its class, the PD-30AE is based on a pure, genuine CD drive. The specialization of this "Silent Drive" drive on only one task is reflected positively in both the operating
noise and the sound of the player. The precise data readout is supported by a low-vibration sheet steel housing with aluminium front, a generously dimensioned power supply and a particularly low-noise "Precision Clock", which clocks the drive and D/A converter with ±10ppm accuracy and thus prevents jitter from developing in the first place.
A nice comfort synergy is created when the PD-30AE meets its network player colleague N-30AE - the streamer then makes the CD player controllable via the Pioneer Remote App by giving it their commands via remote cable.

Günstiger, aber überzeugend verarbeiteter und erstaunlich gut klingender, reinrassiger Audio-CD-Player für Einsteiger und Preisbewusste. Auch die Ausstattung mit durchdachter Fernbedienung und zwei Digitalausgängen ist prima. Ideal womöglich auch als Zweitplayer, fürs Jugendzimmer, Wochenendhaus oder den Partykeller.
