With the BDR-209DBK, Pioneer presents a speedy BD burner. The burner writes BD-R at 15x speed and BD-R DL at up to 14x. BD-RE media (Blu-ray Disc rewritable) can be written at up to 2x speed. In addition to Blu-ray media, it can also burn DVD±R discs at up to 16x speed (DVD±R DL at 8x) and read at up to 16x speed.
