The iroshizuku inks offer a wide range of colours. The collection of these high-quality inks includes a total of 24 fascinating shades that reflect the beautiful landscape of Japan and thus also the origin of the PILOT brand. The ink owes its special name to a combination of two Japanese words: "Iro" means colour and symbolises the high standard and colour variety of the iroshizuku inks. The iroshizuku ink is water-based and therefore has a low odour. This aspect is made clear by the second part of the name, because ?shizuku? stands for droplet in German. The name iroshizuku therefore stands for droplets of colour.
