• RDIMM 2Rank: 128GB RAM (2 x (4 x 16GB RDIMM))
• RDIMM 4Rank: 256GB RAM (2 x (4 x 32GB RDIMM))
• LRDIMM: 512GB RAM (2 x (4 x 64GB LRDIMM))

Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed. Therefore, when upgrading, you should know which memory is already present or completely upgrade to RDIMM memory.

Principles of memory configuration:

• Registered DIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules must not be mixed.
• Memory slots without a processor present must not be populated.
• Memory configuration for good system performance: Distribute memory evenly across memory slots and evenly across CPUs.
• If more than one CPU is present, the memory per CPU should be identical (mirrored to the other CPU).
