This 128GB memory is 100% compatible with Supermicro SuperStorage 1029P-NMR36L. The following technical specifications should be considered: RDIMM and RDIMM 3DS (Registered DIMM) or LRDIMM and LRDIMM 3DS (Load Reduced DIMM) RAM memory can be installed in the unit. LRDIMM memory is recommended for achieving large memory capacities. RDIMM and RDIMM 3DS memory modules cannot be mixed with LRDIMM and LRDIMM 3DS RAM. If a memory expansion is to be made with the existing RAM, it must be checked which basic memory technology (RDIMM / LRDIMM) is present. In a multiprocessor system, the memory slots should always be populated identically for each CPU. Memory slots without a processor must not be populated. If memory modules are offered with higher clock rates than specified by the system, the memory clock automatically adjusts to the system specifications. The CPU supports 6 DIMMs per memory channel.
