RDIMM memory is recommended for achieving large memory capacities. The different memory technologies (non-ECC UDIMM / ECC UDIMM / RDIMM) must not be mixed. If a memory upgrade is to be performed with the existing RAM, it must be checked which memory technology (non-ECC UDIMM / ECC UDIMM / RDIMM) is currently in use.
