Low-pressure mercury discharge lamp. This light source is not dimmable and is suitable for fixtures with a G13 base. It is suitable for reprography but does not have disinfection properties. The color rendering index has a value of 80 CRI. An external ignitor and ballast are required, and the operating voltage is between 122-130 V. These lamps provide efficient, even, and long-term reliable lighting. Use fluorescent lamps to evenly illuminate spaces without shadows and glare effects. The technology, where a fluorescent coating is excited to glow by UV radiation from a gas discharge, allows for particularly balanced light distribution. Fluorescent lamps also have significantly better energy efficiency than incandescent or halogen lamps. Given their extreme longevity, fluorescent lamps prove to be an economical solution.
