This monitors the musical signal as it passes through the amplifier and keeps peaks within the amplifier's range to prevent clipping caused by audio distortions without compromising volume. A speaker's ability to reproduce musical peaks decreases with battery level; however, the anti-clipping feature reduces peaks caused by low battery levels.
