Examples include the first 0.9 mm fine lead for mechanical pencils, the first fiber pen "SignPen," the first rollerball pen "Ball Pentel," and the first correction fluid with a writing tip instead of a brush. For over 70 years, Pentel has continuously worked on new and improved developments that make our daily lives easier, particularly in writing, drawing, and painting. In 1977, the successful company also entered Switzerland as "Pentel Papeteriewaren AG.".
