The HD Pentax-D from Ricoh is a zoom lens designed for the 35mm full-frame image circle. This lens is ideal for capturing interiors, wide landscapes, or large structures thanks to its wide angle. The perspective of the 28mm focal length allows for images with a deep visual impact. With a 105mm focal length, you can also take telephoto shots suitable for reportage photography or spontaneous snapshots. The wide aperture range of f/3.5 to f/5.6 offers you various options for playing with depth of field.
The integrated SDM motor (Supersonic Direct Drive) provides fast and nearly silent focusing, allowing you to respond flexibly to any situation. The "Quick Shift" function enables quick switching between manual and automatic focusing. You can manually adjust focus immediately after automatic focusing without switching modes.
The lens elements feature a multi-layer HD coating, ensuring high light transmission with low reflection, allowing for high contrast and sharp images without flare or ghosting. The weather-resistant construction protects the lens from dust and moisture. The front lens is treated with an SP coating that protects against grease and water, making cleaning easier.
