Die Bildmitte liefert offen gute Werte, sowohl beim Kontrast als auch bei der Auflösung, doch ist der Randabfall sehr kräftig, woran auch Blende 8 nichts ändert. Die offene Blende beträgt nur 4. Mit 550 Euro gehört das 15er zu den günstigsten Testkandidaten, sein Bildstabilisator steckt, wie bei Pentax üblich, in der Kamera. Der heftige Randabfall verhindert eine Empfehlung.
