The new PeakTech 1040 is a compact TrueRMS multimeter housed in a sturdy casing, designed for use in the electrical trade. Despite its small size, this new development offers all the essential measurement functions. Notably, it features the ability to check batteries with the built-in battery tester. The manual range selection allows for a very quick response time, and measurement values can be easily read on the display. User safety is ensured by the overvoltage category CAT III up to 600 V and the double-insulated housing, with batteries and ceramic fuses easily accessible for replacement through the battery compartment on the back of the device.
