It is used for testing circuits and cables as well as for accurately locating short circuits. The PCE-CL 20 cable locator enables the detection of live and dead wires. It can also identify gas or water pipes that are located within walls or underground. This allows for the detection of short circuits and fuses, making the cable locator ideal for inspecting walls before drilling to ensure that cables are not hit. The cable locator consists of two individual devices: a receiver unit and a signal generator. Both devices are equipped with a lighting function to work in dark environments. Three LEDs provide perfect illumination on both devices. Additionally, the receiver unit has the option to activate the background lighting.
