Refractometer / Handheld refractometer for wine / juice with automatic temperature compensation and calibration via adjustment screw. It is a very precise measuring instrument for juices and wines with a measurement range of up to 18% Brix.

With this refractometer, measurements can be taken quickly and accurately. To perform a measurement with this handheld refractometer, the user only needs a few drops of the liquid to be tested. The sample liquid can be easily applied using the included pipette. When the handheld refractometer is held up to a light source, the operator can directly read the % Brix value from the scale.

The readable scale of the handheld refractometer ranges from 0 to 18% Brix. With an accuracy of ±0.1% Brix and readability of ±0.1% Brix, it is a very precise refractometer for wine. Thus, the handheld refractometer for juice can be used for a variety of measurement tasks.

Due to its ease of use and high accuracy, this refractometer is utilized in agriculture, educational institutions such as universities or training centers, and research laboratories. Calibration of the handheld refractometer can also be performed quickly and easily by the operator. For this, distilled water must be dropped onto the measuring surface of the refractometer. When the operator looks through the eyepiece, the zero point can be adjusted. If the measurement value of the refractometer is not at 0% Brix, an adjustment can be made using the adjustment screw.

Many refractometers require temperature compensation. This is not necessary with this handheld refractometer.
