Paula Modersohn-Becker (1876–1907) is considered one of the pioneers of European modernism with her distinctive visual language. In her iconic portraits, landscapes, and still lifes created in Worpswede and Paris, she aimed for the "great simplicity of form and color," thus becoming part of the avant-garde movements of her time.

The calendar is an exclusive collaboration with the Paula Modersohn-Becker Foundation in Bremen. The 12 monthly sheets featuring selected works by the artist are excellently printed on high-quality picture printing paper. They are complemented by an extra text sheet containing a biography and a description of the Paula Modersohn-Becker Museum in Bremen and its works.
