Pattex Gluing instead of drilling

Whenever something needs to be fastened in the house or apartment, Pattex adhesive is often the ideal solution instead of drilling assembly adhesive. It is easy to use, and the fixing is immediate (after approximately 10 seconds, it can hold about 50 kg/m² with full-surface bonding).

Note: One of the two adhesive surfaces must be absorbent (porous).

Tips & Tricks:
What is a sucking underground?

This refers to all materials that have a porous or permeable structure or are capable of absorbing liquids or moisture.

To easily test the absorbency of the substrate yourself, spray water onto the intended adhesive surface. The faster the substrate absorbs the water, the more absorbent it is.

Cleaning with playing cards:
After the gluing process, fold a playing card and remove the excess adhesive along the edges of the glued object. It's that easy to remove protruding adhesive!

How much adhesive is needed?

To achieve the ideal bonding, we recommend using between 200 g and 400 g of Pattex bonding per square meter.

Easier application:
If you are using a Pattex adhesive cartridge, simply cut off the cartridge tip at an angle with a knife or pliers. This simplifies the application and ensures precise application of the adhesive.
