If the compressed air in the system where the membrane dryer is installed contains excessive amounts of water and oil, an additional pre-filter is required before the CD0005 dryer. The Parker Balston series cabinet dryers can reduce humidity in electrical cabinets to less than 10%. With a dew point of less than -18 °C, dry air is directed into the cabinet to remove moisture and keep dust at bay. This helps to avoid costly shutdowns and maintenance. These dryers are specifically designed for use in areas with wet cleaning and provide protection for expensive motors, touchscreen drivers, and other critical cabinet components.
