The Parallax motor mounting and wheel kit is a complete mechanical drive system for stable and robust medium-sized mobile robots. Two independent mirror-image drive assemblies each contain a right-angle worm drive gear motor, axle and bearing unit, a six-inch air tire, and a quadrature encoder system that provides odometry feedback to your choice of processor unit. Mounting holes for easy installation on the Arlo robot base. Durable air tires with inner tube, Ø x width: 152 mm x 32 mm. Worm drive DC gear motors for mounting on 6061 solid aluminum motor blocks. Max. payload: 27 kg. Torque: approximately 85 lbs (9.6 Nm) per motor mount. Power supply per motor: +12 V dc @ 1.5 A (no load), 4 A+ (full load). Wheel speed without load: 100 RPM. Odometry: 36-part disk with optical slots with quadrature output on each wheel axle. Operating temperature range: 0 to +49 °C.
