The Palmer PAN04A is a 2-channel DI box designed for feeding unbalanced and high-impedance signals from electric instruments into the microphone inputs of a mixing console. It provides a transformer-balanced, low-impedance signal at the outputs and eliminates hum and interference caused by ground loops. The active circuitry allows for an unaffected frequency response and achieves a high dynamic range. In addition to 6.35 mm direct outputs and a switchable -30 dB input attenuation, the DI box features a mono output that sums both channels. The PAN04A is built to be extremely robust and is suitable for both stage and studio use. It can be powered with 9 to 24 V DC power adapters or phantom power when two outputs are connected to a mixing console.
