The Super models of the GeForce RTX family offer more video memory and an increased number of shader cores compared to their standard RTX predecessors. With the product refresh, NVIDIA caters to the needs of demanding games with ray tracing effects. NVIDIA positions the GeForce RTX 2070 Super quite close to a standard GeForce RTX 2080. It even uses the same TU104 chip, with 2560 active shader processors and 14 Gbps GDDR6 memory.
