The Ozobot Ari Entry Kit is an educational robot designed for primary and secondary education, featuring a compact, programmable design and an interactive touchscreen running on the Android operating system. The robot is ready to use in the classroom and includes extensive programming and AI learning materials. Students can program Ari using three methods: screen-free with color codes and markers, visual block programming via the Ozobot Editor (Blockly), and text-based programming with Python. The robot stands about 7 cm tall and has a diameter of 6 cm, made from durable black polycarbonate, and is equipped with professional sensors such as line and color sensors for path tracking, a time-of-flight distance sensor for obstacle detection, as well as an accelerometer and gyroscope for motion tracking. The interactive display shows animations, tasks, and provides immediate feedback to enhance student engagement. Through a secure Wi-Fi connection, Ari accesses updated teaching content and new educational materials. The educational platform offers ready-made lessons for STEM subjects such as biology, computer science, mathematics, and other subjects that promote logical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ari introduces AI concepts through practical applications: obstacle avoidance similar to autonomous vehicles, voice-activated commands for speech recognition, and machine vision for object recognition comparable to industrial quality control processes. The kit includes an Ozobot Ari robot, a charging cable, five color code markers, an activity booklet, and a storage box. This successor model to the Evo and Bit+ versions offers enhanced educational capabilities and makes complex technical concepts accessible through interactive, hands-on learning experiences that prepare students for future technological environments.
