The ThunderBay 4 mini is perfect for reconfiguring or maximizing 2.5-inch SSDs for a compact data storage solution. It offers great performance and flexibility, yet is about the length of a pencil and weighs just under 1.5 kg with SSDs. The robust, heat-dissipating aluminum casing features two Thunderbolt 3 ports for speeds of up to 1556 MB/s, providing you with more than enough bandwidth to handle personal and business backups—right up to today's highest resolution audio, photo, and video formats. If you're looking for high RAID performance that is small enough to fit on a desk, in a rack, or on a DIT cart, your wish has now come true. With four drive bays, you can mix and match 2.5-inch SSDs and HDDs from different brands and capacities. Use mixed drives independently or combine drives as RAID with the included SoftRAID software. Available in a variety of pre-configured capacity solutions to achieve the desired balance of storage, performance, and data redundancy. Whatever the day or project demands, the ThunderBay 4 mini is the perfect workflow solution. Expand production capabilities on industry-leading creative platforms such as Final Cut X, Avid Pro Tools, Apple Pro Logic, and Adobe Lightroom. Edit large images, manage extensive photo and audio libraries, and store drone videos. Use it as a mobile solution.
