Product details

Uncompromising touring backpack for all conditions. A backpack that makes no compromises and is designed for demanding mountaineers who want to be out in the mountains in any weather: the Peak 40 Dry by Ortovox. This touring backpack is suitable for high alpine summits as well as exciting multi-day tours. For safety reasons alone, the summit day should ideally be sunny - however, rain on the approach is not uncommon. Accordingly, this backpack is equipped with an outstanding waterproof rating of 50,000 mm, meaning it is completely waterproof and the contents of the backpack always stay dry.

Why is it advantageous that the Peak 40 Dry is waterproof? You save the extra grams of a rain cover - and additionally, the features remain functional in any weather. In plain terms: You have access to all attachment options that would be covered by a rain cover. And there are several attachments - such as the helmet holder, two ice axe holders, a rope holder, a ski holder, and a safety attachment for emergency equipment. Furthermore, comfort is not compromised - thanks to the Full Contact Light Back System. This ensures a comfortable fit and good control with heavier loads, while the hip belt optimally distributes the weight. You can surely tell: The Ortovox Peak 40 Dry will never let you down!
