The 2M series was developed in collaboration with Danish industrial designer Møller Jensen Design - the same designer who created the award-winning MC Jubilee and Kontrapunkt series. Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours elegantly trace the grooves on the surface of a vinyl record, the elegance of the 2M represents a great combination of form and functionality. The cartridges of the 2M series are equipped with split-pole pins developed by Ortofon, a technology that allows for a flat frequency response similar to that of the moving-coil principle. The optimized design allows for easy installation. Weight and size have been adjusted to fit the most common turntables on the market.
