Inspired by the facets of a diamond, whose contours elegantly trace the grooves on the surface of a vinyl record, the elegance of the 2M represents a remarkable combination of form and functionality. The 2M series cartridges are equipped with split-pole pins developed by Ortofon, a design that allows for a flat frequency response similar to that of the moving-coil principle. The optimized design facilitates easy installation. Weight and size have been adjusted to fit the most common turntables on the market. The 2M series offers excellent compatibility for use with various playback systems and a wide range of phono preamplifiers.
