Thanks to its patented Spiralcell technology, it can deliver power for longer, has a shorter charging time, and boasts double the lifespan of conventional boat batteries. It is specifically designed to meet the demanding challenges of marine applications. The Optima Bluetop battery is completely spill-proof and maintenance-free. It is lightweight and can be installed practically anywhere in almost any position. The vibration resistance of this battery is 15 times higher than that of other batteries, which is extremely important in marine use. It also holds its charge longer and can be recharged faster due to its remarkably low self-discharge rate. This means you can get back on the water more quickly at the start of the season.

Bluetop Deep-Cycle Batteries: The Optima BT DC 4.2 and BT DC 5.5 Bluetop batteries serve two purposes. They are suitable for all deep-cycle applications (boat accessories, helm loads, electric motors, bow thrusters) and for starting applications.

Bluetop SLI (Starting, Lighting, Ignition): The BT SLI 4.2 Bluetop battery from Optima is a starter battery. While you can use deep-cycle batteries in any application, starter batteries are exclusively designed for starting applications.
