With Onkyo's VLSC, data is continuously captured between two sample points via a signal comparison generator. The difference is combined in real time with analogue vectors to produce a smooth output signal. Digital-to-analogue conversion with VLSC can generate an audio signal that is virtually free of pulse noise. This also allows the acoustic details and subtle nuances of your music sources to be reproduced - bringing digital media to life.

The C-7030 is characterised by a precise clocking process for controlling and tuning all digital signal processes - similar to a conductor who directs and coordinates the individual instruments in an orchestra. The C-7030 uses a state-of-the-art crystal oscillator that allows a frequency deviation of no more than ± 10 ppm - significantly less than conventional oscillators.

A high-quality DA converter helps to optimise the analogue sound quality of the C-7030. This DA converter performs 24-bit signal processing, supports sampling rates of up to 192 kHz and is highly insensitive to clock inaccuracies. With the DA converter integrated on the board, the C-7030 provides an unadulterated conversion of digital signals into an analogue audio output.
