The Olympus VP-20 is an audio and sound recorder designed with the sleek profile of a pen, allowing it to be activated with just one hand at any time. Its omnidirectional stereo microphone and effective anti-rustle filter enable the recording of voices and sounds from various directions in crystal-clear quality, even when the device is in a pocket. Slim like a pen, the VP-20 also allows recordings from the breast pocket of a shirt without distracting the speaker unnecessarily. There are specific modes for the four most common recording situations, each with optimal settings, including the highly sensitive pocket mode. Thanks to the microphone/headphone jack, external microphones can also be connected. Phone calls can be recorded using the optional TP8. Data transfer and battery charging are easily done without extra cables via the USB stick. Additionally, it features noise cancellation, transcription and language learning modes, various options for adjusting microphone sensitivity, and filters for optimal voice capture.
