The control device for the washing machine allows for the provision of hot water with modern heating systems powered by solar energy, gas, oil, or district heating, four times more efficiently and cost-effectively than with electricity. It avoids significant losses and environmental impacts associated with electricity generation. Washing machines are among the largest electricity consumers in households. ALFA MIX enables the feeding of hot water from solar and conventional hot water systems.

The energy-saving device utilizes up to 90% of the energy for heating the water during washing. ALFA MIX reduces the electricity consumption of the washing machine by an average of 50%. A household can save up to 300 kWh of electricity per year with this device.

Washing with solar heat is particularly advantageous when a solar hot water system is already in place. Feeding solar-heated water into the washing machine increases the energy yield of the solar collectors and makes the use of solar energy even more economical.

To prevent water from flowing back into the supply network when ALFA MIX is switched on, we recommend installing a check valve at each connection to the supply network.
