A breadboard, also known as a prototype board, is used for the mechanical mounting and electrical connection of electronic components. Unlike printed circuit boards, the components are not soldered but simply plugged in. This is particularly advantageous for experimental setups, as the circuit can easily be modified by rearranging the components.

Both breadboards each feature 2 power rails and can be connected laterally.

Half-size breadboard:

• Number of connections: 300 (30 rows with 2 x 5 pins) + 100 (power rails).
