The VR pioneer has equipped the HMD (Head-mounted Display) named Meta Rift with two OLED displays, each boasting a resolution of 1,080 x 1,200 pixels, which provide a wide 110-degree field of view and are viewed through two hybrid Fresnel lenses.
The distance between the two lenses can be adjusted using a dial on the bottom of the VR headset to match the user's interpupillary distance, ranging from 58 to 72 mm. The distance of the lenses from the eyes themselves (diopter adjustment) can be modified using interchangeable facial interfaces, which are padded frames for the face.
The "Facial Interface" set comes from VR Cover, the manufacturer that has reconstructed and skillfully improved the original "Facial Interfaces" from Meta VR, allowing for the use of various foam inserts or providing more comfort thanks to a nose cutout. Those who find the original foam padding uncomfortable or want to minimize facial imprints from the padding included with the device will find relief here.
