Up to four players build and operate a restaurant from the ground up, selecting dishes, purchasing and placing facilities—some of which can be linked together to create complex, automated kitchens—and cooking meals to serve customers. Players have complete freedom in designing their restaurant, which expands and evolves between shifts, while utilizing additional content and challenges unlocked throughout their progress.
