The Nowsonic USB PrePen is a plug converter for all microphones with an XLR connection via a USB port on the computer. It provides phantom power, a headphone jack with volume control, and a professional preamplifier with adjustable gain. No driver installation is required, allowing for immediate plug-and-play functionality.

The USB PrePen is an extremely compact USB audio interface for directly connecting a microphone to a computer (Windows or Mac). The microphone signal is amplified and converted within the USB PrePen and can be used with suitable software for high-quality audio recording and playback. Thanks to driver technology, AD/DA conversion up to 48 kHz with low latency is possible. The USB PrePen is directly supported by the USB device drivers in the operating system.
