Novation is incredibly proud to announce the new flagship synthesizer Summit. Summit is technologically based on the highly acclaimed PEAK. Summit features 3-oscillators per voice, with a total of 16 voices, and is designed for semi-professional musicians and producers in the studio or on stage.

More than the sum of two peaks

With its 2-stage multitimbral architecture, Summit combines the "power" of two peaks - multiple independent patches can be either layered or split on the keyboard. However, Summit is much more than the sum of two peaks - Additional Dual Filters (Pro section) generously expanded front panel controls, an external audio input and more - experience Summit in terms of sound and workflow completely new!

Digital - where it matters

At the heart of Summit is the digital New Oxford Oscillator, housed on a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chip. This not only produces authentic analog waveforms, but also facilitates FM and wavetable synthesis!

Analog - where it counts

The FPGA feeds the signal into a true stereo signal path that includes dual analog filters, three analog distortion stages and analog VCAs per section. It's the combination of flawless analog emulated oscillators with analog filters and saturations that make Summit sound so incredibly warm and fat.

Summit offers a wealth of modulation sources and assignment options, as well as three FPGA effects that provide direct access on the front panel.
