Normann Copenhagen Phantom pendant light

Phantom Lighting Series. A fascinatingly shaped cocoon for illumination: Simon Legald draws on a well-known design from the 1960s for the Danish brand Normann Copenhagen. A special resin material is sprayed in fine threads over a rigid steel skeleton. The covering not only resembles a cocoon in its construction but also in its texture, similar to that of a silkworm's cocoon. However, the latter does not use steel wire in its construction, which here mysteriously shines through the covering. The light from a self-installed bulb glimmers softly and diffusely through the semi-transparent, ivory-white veil.

Phantom S Pendant Light. Due to the different shapes of the pendant lamps, the Normann Copenhagen lights are offered individually. The "S" variant of the pendant light comes in a classic drop shape, charmingly showcasing the ribs beneath the veil at its thickest point.
